So I've been looking around DA lately and I'm shocked to find what people take for commissions nowadays.

This is in no way meant to offend anyone, I'm just surprised how little I take for my commissions.

For example what I take for one chibi a person of similar skill takes double the amount and so on. Don't even get me started on full-bodies. I take 30 USD for one full-body. Most people on average charge 60 USD.

I've always been a little shy about my artistic skills but I've decided that I'm actually going to raise my prices.


Doing commissions isn't easy,it takes time and effort. On top of all that I'm actually jobless and without an occupation at the moment. I quit UNI in order to start working towards my real dream - game designing.

Thus I'm penniless and in need of money and this is also a good reason to raise my commission prices.

But like I said the most important reason is the fact that I've been downplaying my skills,thinking this is what people should pay for my art when in fact I can do a lot better. If people like my art and they really want to commission me then there will be those willing to pay,so to speak.

So in my next journal post I'm going to post commission details with new,updated prices!

I have same problem lol. Some guyz who drawing worse than me taking in double price/ lol
